Careprost® is a very strong, prescription-strength serum developed with the aim of growing a person's lashes and eyebrows. The medication thickens and darkens both the eyelashes and eyebrows and is cheaper than the Latisse brand in terms of cost. Bimatoprost is the active ingredient that plays a very big role in ensuring lash and brow growth.
How Soon Will I See Results?
The results from using Careprost are gradual. You alone can notice longer lashes and increased thickness in about 3 to 4 weeks of regular application. You will realize the full result in about 16 weeks, and that would be the visible growth of your eyelashes. It is vitally essential to continue applications regularly to maintain results. If you stop using Careprost, your eyelashes will return to their previous state over time within several weeks or months. Results may vary.
Directions for Use
To maximize eyelash growth and eyebrow growth:
- Apply Careprost in the evening and let it be part of your daily beauty routine.
- Apply on a clean face, free from makeup and contact lenses. Lenses can be reinstated 15 minutes after the application.
- Place one drop of Careprost in the bottle cap and, with a sterile applicator, apply it along the upper eyelid margin at the base of your eyelashes.
- Also, avoid touching the serum to your lower lash line. Gently blot off any excess solution using a tissue.
- If any solution enters your eye, do not worry-it will not harm anything. Do not try to flush the eye.
- Do not try to "catch up" by applying more than once a day; more frequent applications will not increase lash thickening or longer lashes.
